Rex O. Schade

Rex has been member of AWE since 1995. He is also the Chair of UN-Committee in AWE. He has been a lifelong educator, taught at Ryslinge Højskole, Denmark for 35 years, 1974-2009, in Pedagogic/Education and Politics. International manager of World Class NGO and EU-Projects. Member of the Association for Folke Højskoler, FFD in Denmark since 1974.

Alla is a lifelong learner and educator at heart. She implements international projects in education, enlightenment, pedagogy and ecology, consistent with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. She is engaged in the study/dissemination of the experience of Danish Folk Schools and the heritage of Danish educator, priest and poet N.F.S. Grundtvig.

Alla lives in Belgium.

Igor Folvarochnyi

Vice President

Igor Folvarochnyi is from Ukraine. He is a Doctor of Education (Dr.hab) at the National University of Ukraine on physical education and sport. His interests are in the history and theory of world education. As an activist, he encourages his students to build a democratic society, develop the skills and attitudes of active citizenship, and cooperate with the government and non-government educational and scientific institutions.

May Rendon Cinco

May is a grassroots educator from the Philippines. Her 38 years of experience in development work includes working with sectors like the farmers, fisherfolks, women, indigenous people, persons with disabilities, urban poor/informal settlers, marginal handicrafts producers/artisans, and Muslims in Mindanao Island of the Philippines, in the fields of leadership formation and empowerment, education advocacy, adult learning and education, community-based socio-economic enterprises, environmental protection, gender and development, and local governance. She also writes modules and workbooks for grassroots education.

Gina Nzeba Tshiswaka Hagebro

Gina Nzeba is from the Democratic Republic of Congo and is living in Danmark since 1998. She obtained BA in Social work/science. She works as a family therapist in Furesø Community, Copenhagen. Gina participated in a 5 months NGO Management programme at Ryslinge Højskole's World Class Project.

She is the founder and frontwoman of the NGO Congos Børn located in Danmark and also the founder of NGO Maison VIGALEX located in Kinshasa in DR.CONGO. These 2 NGOs are in close collaboration with each other and the goals are to provide a better life for the kids who are living in the street in DR.Congo.
